Advent Season

IMG_0576.jpg

I love the Christmas season! What a joy to celebrate our Savior's birth by sharing hospitality and generosity with others (strangers, acquaintances, friends, or members of my family). I bought 5 of these 99 cent Advent calendars at TJ's. They are so amazing, thanks TJs for another amazing product. It has a piece of chocolate inside for each day. One of the character qualities that my husband and I really want to instill in ourselves and our kids is thankfulness. So this advent season, I am going to have each kid thank the Lord for one thing before they devour their piece of chocolate. How about you? Are there any advent ideas or traditions you want to share? I would love to hear them! One thing I am thankful for today are all of my beautiful readers around the world. I am one blessed woman!
